When we write these blogs, we tend to focus on the more human aspects of our work. We talk about community, about adoption, about how we are trying to make products that are not only technically perfect, but also ideal for your use, on your day-to-day lives. We want to destroy the myth that blockchain and crypto are techy, fidgety, things to be used by a small population of developers and engineers. However, we fully understand that if we are to do this, and if we are going to be able to communicate to the general public how revolutionary these products can be, we need them to be flawless. They need to just work. The technical aspect is paramount.
And this is why we are so elated to be working with Alchemy. They are a group of software developers, engineers and product people based in San Francisco who absolutely share our goals and philosophy for what blockchain can mean to the world. The good folks at Alchemy realised that developing solutions using the technology was difficult because the infrastructure just wasn’t there. This is all new, and a lot of the tools that software engineers take for granted while working off-chain just isn’t available yet. So they decided to do something about it. They provide blockchain developers and companies with the tooling and materials to do their jobs quicker and more easily.
We are one of those companies. Running blockchain nodes was always going to be one of the main technical challenges of our job, especially when we need 100% availability, as well as performance. A lot of this technology is new, it changes all the time, and sometimes it breaks. There’s no way we were going to let our customers suffer with this, so we found workable solutions, but most of them just provide a thin layer to help with this, and offload the work to a third party. Alchemy was different from the get-go. They provided us with a complete service and a custom infrastructure to boost our requests’ performance.
They are helping us perfect our materials, our tools, our technique, so we can do our jobs to the fullest, and keep going on about the business of changing the world with blockchain. And this is something they understand, and a goal they share. The human aspect of these partnerships is crucial, and the Alchemy team are accessible, always ready to listen to our feedback, and all-around great people to work with.
The future is here, and we are building it with Alchemy.
